A motorcyclist died Wednesday night in a crash in unincorporated Snohomish County near Edmonds, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said.
The man, believed to be in his 50s, was speeding westbound on 148th Street Southwest around 8 p.m. According to the sheriff’s office, witnesses said he went off the road into a ditch near the intersection of 60th Avenue West.
Two witnesses gave the man CPR, but he died, the sheriff’s office noted.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the man and will also determine the cause and manner of his death.
