MBK Senior Living’s Mountlake Terrace Plaza and the Mountlake Terrace Senior Center will partner on Wednesday, Nov. 2 for an event benefiting Washington Kids in Transition. The location is the Mountlake Terrace Senior Center at Ballinger Park, 23000 Lakeview Drive.
The public is invited to attend from 4-6 p.m. and share MBK Senior Living’s “Yoi Shigoto” (The Good Work) spirit of selfless giving to support local seniors and charitable organizations during this holiday season. Attendees are asked to bring a donation of new or used clothing and will be treated to music and festive holiday appetizers and holiday beverages.
Collected donations will be distributed to Washington Kids in Transition, which supports homeless students and their families in the Edmonds School District.
If you would like to attend the event, you are asked to RSVP by calling 425-654-3734. However, you may make a donation without attending the event. Donations will be accepted through Nov. 10 at the Mountlake Terrace Senior Center during their hours of operation.
