Edmonds Police are still seeking any information regarding a carjacking that was reported Thursday.
Edmonds Police obtained a photo of the suspect from Edmonds Community College. Her face is covered by a blue umbrella, but her beige purse, black sweater, dark pants and shoes are visible.
“This is the best shot we currently have of our carjacking suspect,” Edmonds Police tweeted Friday night.
The victim’s car also has not yet been located. It is a red 2015 Subaru Impreza with Washington license plate number AWP1969.
The victim, a 17-year-old woman from Mountlake Terrace, gave the suspect a ride to Swedish Edmonds Thursday afternoon. When they arrived at the hospital, the suspect told the victim she had a gun and for the victim to get out of the car. They fought, but the suspect eventually pushed the victim out of the vehicle and drove away.
If you have any information about the incident, suspect or vehicle, contact the Edmonds Police Department at 425-771-0200. If you see the vehicle or suspect, call 9-1-1, as she is considered armed.
