Fire District 1 fire calls, Oct. 13-26

Fire-District-1-logoSnohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 936 calls Oct. 13-26: 676 emergency medical aid calls, 107 motor vehicle collisions, 49 fires, 25 service calls, 17 natural gas leaks, 2 hazardous materials calls, 2 rescues and 58 automatic fire alarms.

Oct. 13
COLLISION: At 1:38 p.m., a T-bone car collision was reported at Highway 99 and 230th Street Street Southwest in Edmonds. Firefighters transported one patient to an area hospital.

COLLISION: At 6:09 p.m., a two-car collision occurred at 134th Place Southeast and Puget Park Drive east of Mill Creek. Firefighters transported one patient to an area hospital.

COLLISION: At 6:52 p.m., a two-car collision occurred at 224th Street Southwest and 76th Avenue West in Edmonds. Firefighters transported one patient to an area hospital.

CAR-BIKE COLLISION: At 7:26 p.m., a car struck a bicycle in the 14200 block of Seattle Hill Road northeast of Mill Creek. Firefighters transported the injured rider to an area hospital.

Oct. 14
CAR-PEDESTRIAN COLLISION: At 6:41 a.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at 149th Place Southwest and Meadow Road north of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported one patient to an area hospital.

CAR INTO BUILDING: At 9:55 a.m., a car drove into a building in the 2100 block of 164th Street Southwest north of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported one patient to an area hospital.

Oct. 15
COLLISION: At 12:57 a.m., a car struck a barrier on northbound I-5 north of I-405. Firefighters transported one patient to an area hospital.

Oct. 17
FIRE: At 1:54 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of a fire at home in the 21300 block of 8th Place West east of Lynnwood. The occupants safely evacuated. The fire was contained to a room where a contractor was using oil-based paint. Investigators believe paint fumes ignited and flashed when a paper-covered wall heater inadvertently turned on.

COLLISION: At 2:15 p.m., a two-car collision occurred in the 22500 block of Highway 99 in Edmonds. Firefighters transported one patient to an area hospital.

COLLISION: At 3:16 p.m., a seven-car collision was reported on northbound I-5 north of 164th Street Southwest. Firefighters transported one patient to an area hospital.

Oct. 20
COLLISION: At 7:25 a.m., two trucks were involved in a collision at 28th Avenue West and 204th Street Southwest east of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported one patient to an area hospital.

Oct. 21
COLLISION: At 11:30 a.m., two cars were involved in a collision at 9th Avenue North and Main Street in Edmonds. Firefighters transported one patient to an area hospital.

Oct. 25
CAR-BICYCLE COLLISION: At 10:37 a.m., a car struck a bicyclist at 220th Street Southwest and 76th Avenue West in Edmonds. Firefighters transported the injured cyclist to an area hospital.

CAR-SKATEBOARD COLLISION: At 6:09 p.m., a car and a skateboarder collided at 228th Street Southwest and 95th Place West in Edmonds. Firefighters transported the injured skateboarder to an area hospital.

Oct. 26
ROLLOVER COLLISION: At 3:23 p.m., firefighters responded to a one-car rollover collision on the I-5 southbound off-ramp to I-405. Firefighters transported one patient to an area hospital.
