The purveyors of panic at Haunted Nightmare return to the Nile Golf Course, just off 1-5 in Mountlake Terrace, this Halloween season with a nightmarish haunted house experience you’ll be dying to wake up from.

The 11-night event exists as a partnership with the Nile Shriners, who look to Haunted Nightmare’s many skilled volunteer makeup artists, set designers and actors to drive their largest annual fundraiser

With the recent purchase of a 1986 Cadillac hot rod hearse, haunt producers have the proverbial pedal to the metal and have no plans of letting up as they look to build on last year’s success of being named one of CoasterNation.com’s “Top 31 Haunted Attractions 2015.”

A nightmare awaits just off I-5 at the Nile Golf Course.

Upon arrival, guests will notice a new layout, featuring more indoor space and
streamlined operations bringing guests face-to-face with their fears faster than ever before. A path through the haunted attraction brings many new scares, as well as some entirely re-themed attractions.

After making your way through the Haunted Nightmare, you’re invited to the Food and Fear Garden for sweets, beverages and food trucks, plus beer for those over 21.

General admission tickets are $18 at the door or $15 online at www.HauntedNightmare.com

R.I.P. Fast Pass tickets will be available at the door for $25. R.I.P. tickets are unavailable online so as to allow guests to view the line first. Simply buy a general admission ticket online, then consider upgrading at the box office.

Additional group discounts are also available and must be purchased online (see website for details).

The show opens Friday, Oct. 7 with additional shows Oct. 8, 14-15, 20-22 and 28-30. It is closed on Halloween. Hours are 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturdays and
until 10 p.m. on ghoul nights. On busier nights, the box office will close a half hour prior to the show’s closing hour.

You are also invited to a Nile Halloween Family Fun Fest Oct. 30 from 2-5 p.m featuring bouncy houses, cotton candy, face painting, food trucks, a car show and vendor booths. Plus, children can test their bravery with a trick-or-treating journey through the lights-on haunted attraction. Admission is $10

After the Funfest, send the kids home with grandma and stick around to experience
the ever-popular “Fright Light Night.”  For the final show, the Nile’s haunted grounds go pitch-black, leaving you with a finger flashlight to guide the way.
