Police: Suspect in Edmonds Subway robbery now in jail

EPDpatchEdmonds police on Tuesday shared good news about the armed man who robbed the Subway in the 23800 block of Highway 99 in July.

“Thanks to Lynnwood K9, we recovered evidence when the suspect ran off. That led to him being identified,” police said on the EPD Facebook page. “Our Street Crimes Unit went down to Tacoma last Friday and arrested him. He’s now in custody at the Snohomish County Jail.”

The suspect, who walked into the sandwich shop July 23 with a knife in hand, was wearing a full face covering, hard hat and sweatshirt.
