Prep football: Warriors roll over Seagulls, 55-21

Jaro Rouse scored four touchdowns and Kameron Krall completed 13 of 16 passes for 281 yards and five touchdowns as Edmonds-Woodway defeated Everett 55-21 in Edmonds District Stadium Friday night.

The Warriors (6-1 league, 6-3 overall) now advance to the district playoffs next week, with the day and opponent yet to be determined.

Rouse, who was named the Sound Live Sports Network Player of the Game, caught five passes for 172 yards.

The Seagulls (3-4, 5-4) struck first in Friday’s game, which was also homecoming night for Edmonds-Woodway, and had a 14-13 lead by midway through the first quarter. But the Warriors’ offense soon kicked into high gear, and they scored seven touchdowns before halftime. Everett didn’t score again until the fourth quarter.

Cappassio Cherry had 15 carries for 86 yards and two touchdowns, and Aaron Richardson also scored a TD for the Warriors.
