Reminder: Congressional candidate Walkinshaw to visit Edmonds Oct. 16

Brady Piñero Walkinshaw, candidate to replace the retiring Jim McDermott as Washington State’s 7th Congressional District Representative, will hold a meet and greet in Edmonds this Sunday, Oct. 16 at the Cascadia Art Museum multipurpose room.

RSVPs are requested for the event, which will run from 11 a.m.-noon. RSVP at bit.ly/EdmondsRSVP.

Walkinshaw, a State Representative from Seattle’s 43rd District, is facing Pramila Jayapal in the general election. Both are Democrats.

Walkinshaw has received endorsements from local elected officials, including Edmonds Mayor Dave Earling and State Rep. and former Edmonds City Councilmember Strom Peterson.
