Edmonds-based Annie’s Community Kitchen is hosting its annual Thanksgiving Feast on Wednesday, Nov. 23 from 5-6:30 p.m. “The mashed potatoes are real, as much as you can eat hot and tender turkey with homemade gravy and homemade pumpkin pies and coffee,” the event announcement said.
Annie’s Kitchen, a service of Edmonds Lutheran Church, opened its doors in 2004, with the purpose of providing a hot and nutritious meal every Wednesday night to everyone, regardless of their circumstances. It was intended to be a neighborhood gathering; not only a place to have basic needs met, but a place for people to come together to foster community a sense of belonging and support.
The dinner is served at the church, located at 23525 84th Ave. W., Edmonds. To learn more, visit www.annieskitchen.edmondslutheran.org
