‘Empty Bowls’ can be purchased at Meadowdale HS starting Friday

Meadowdale-logoThe Meadowdale Arts and Music Booster Organization invites students, families and community members to purchase “Empty Bowls” for a good cause.

Empty Bowls has been a tradition at Meadowdale High School for 10 years. For $17, plain ceramic bowls can be purchased during lunch, starting on Friday, Nov. 4, then painted from Nov. 14-17 after school in the ceramics room. Meadowdale students can be commissioned to paint your bowl.

Then, participants can gather on Dec. 1, from 5-6:30 p.m. to enjoy a celebratory bowl of soup before attending the theatre production of “12 Angry Jurors.”

All proceeds go to the Lynnwood Food Bank.

 

  1. Come join in our Soup Dinner even if you didn’t purchase a ceramic bowl. Suggested donations are $5 for a hearty bowl of soup with all the fixin’s. All proceeds go to the Lynnwood Food Bank.
