Reminder: 12th annual Halloween Howl rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 12

The 12th Annual Halloween Howl for dogs and their owners, which was canceled in October due to bad weather, has been rescheduled for this Saturday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m- 2 p.m. at the off-leash dog park south of Marina Beach Park on the Edmonds waterfront.

The event is a fundraiser for Off Leash Area Edmonds, the non-profit organization that operates and maintains the dog park.

There will be a silent auction as well as a costume contest, starting at 1 p.m., for dogs and owners alike.

Silent auction items include the following:

– Three framed Seahawk Posters of Wilson, Bennett and Baldwin
– $100 off of a kettle for brewing at Gallagher’s UBREW
– Scratch Distillery coupons
– $50 from Evviva Woodfire Pizza
– $25 from Hop Jacks
– Pumpkin basket
– Chocolate and wine basket
– Greeting cards
– Homemade dog water bowl from Glazed and Amazed
– Dog quilt from Quilts from the Heart
– Blue Collar Dog Basket
– All the Best Dog Basket
– Trader Joe’s Gift Basket
– Gifts from the Seattle Barkery

Costume contest categories include funniest, most original, best owner and dog combination and overall best in show.
