Attention high school football fans: Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell is the place to be on Saturday, Nov. 26, when the Meadowdale Mavericks will face off against the O’Dea Fighting Irish in a 3A semifinal game at 4 p.m.

O’Dea, with a 14-0 record, is coming off 28-20 win over Lincoln in last weekend’s quarterfinals. Meadowdale, 13-2, defeated Peninsula 34-29 Friday night in its quarterfinal match-up to advance — the first time a Meadowdale team has made it to the semifinal round.

The winner of the Nov. 26 game will move on to the Tacoma Dome Friday, Dec. 2 to play the winner of the Kamiakin-Eastside Catholic game for the State 3A championship. The Kamiakin-Eastside Catholic semifinal will occur prior to the Meadowdale-O’Dea game, at 1 p.m. Nov. 26, also at Pop Keeney Stadium.
