Can the City of Edmonds or the Snohomish County elections office put some cones out to prevent this? This isn’t the first time someone has driven up on the sidewalk to drop off their ballot from their car…
With only a few days left to vote, I’m sure the ballot drop boxes will be busy and we want everyone to stay safe!
Great idea — maybe someone in Public Works can answer if that is possible?
Or at the very least add wording to the ballot box signs (the ones out on the sidewalks) saying walk up only?
The city can only do so much to protect people from themselves.
Good one Bill…
One can only agree with Bill Anderson’s statement “… city can only do so much to protect people from themselves!”
I drove past the library today. I don’t see how the car could have gotten in the position in the photo unless the driver drove over the curb on Main St. That alone should have been a clue that this is not a driveway.
