Edmonds-based Chermak Construction employee Richard Lawrence assisted Saturday in the Painting a Better Tomorrow event sponsored by the Master Builders Association and other volunteers. This year's beneficiary was Kindering, a Bellevue-based therapy program for children who are disabled, medically fragile or at risk.
