Snohomish County Transfer Station in MLT to be closed Dec. 9-10

SnoCo logoThe Snohomish County Public Works Solid Waste Division will temporarily close its Southwest Recycling and Transfer Station (SWRTS) in Mountlake Terrace on Dec. 9-10, 2016. The closure will allow for major floor repairs in the transfer station area.

During this time, the recycling area will remain open during regular hours; however, yard waste will not be accepted. Residents and businesses planning to use the facility on these two days are asked to use the Airport Road Recycling and Transfer Station in Everett.

SWRTS will reopen on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 8 a.m. The repairs are funded by transfer station customer fees.

For information on alternate locations, fees, SWRTS normal operating hours or about the closure, visit www.snoco.org/solidwaste or call 425-388-3425.
