Update: Work to begin Monday on clearing Olympic View Drive mudslide

Work will start Monday on clearing a mudslide that closed Olympic View Drive at Talbot Road, Edmonds police said.

Meanwhile, those needing access to Talbot Road can do so from 76th Avenue West, said police spokesman Sgt. Shane Hawley.

Public works crews are scheduled to begin cleaning up the area Monday, he added.

  1. Talbot Road is accessible from Olympic View Dr from the Perrinville side. There is local acesss only to and from 88th Ave W. OVD is baracaded on the other side of Talbot.
