Working out at Harbor Square Athletic Club? Take your valuables, police advise

EPDpatchEdmonds police note that they are seeing a rash of smash and grabs from vehicles parked at the Harbor Square Athletic Club complex, and encourage patrons not to leave valuables in plain sight.

“Please hide or take all valuables with you,” police posted on the EPD Facebook page Wednesday. “The incidents are primarily occurring in the late evening hours but we remind you to be vigilant at all times. Officers will make every effort to increase patrols in this area.”

In addition, police advised citizens to call 911 anytime to report anyone suspicious. “We never close and rely on you to be extra sets of eyes and ears,” the post said.

  1. My friend’s car and another car were broken into there between 7-8 a couple of nights ago so it’s not even that late in the evening. Maybe they should hire a security person to begin once it’s dark, at least for the winter while it’s dark so early.
