An annual holiday favorite, the Argosy Cruises Christmas Ship, is scheduled to appear in Edmonds Tuesday, Dec. 13.
Every year, the Argosy Christmas Ship sails to different Puget Sound waterfront communities, around 65 in total. Choirs on board give 20-minute performances, all broadcast via a state-of-the-art speaker system. On shore, people gather around roaring bonfires anticipating the arrival of the Christmas Ship.
The Snohomish County Children’s Choir will perform in Edmonds, with the ship departing the Port of Edmonds Marina, 336 Admiral Way, at 7 p.m. The choir’s first performance, for all to hear both on board and on shore, runs from 7:20-7:40 p.m. at the Edmonds Fishing Pier. The choir’s second performance will be from 8:20-8:40 p.m. at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park.
