Overall, the realtors association collected more than 90,000 pounds of food and raised nearly $40,000 in cash donations for the food drive.

“Everyone at Windermere Edmonds would like to thank the community of Edmonds, and Las Brisas restaurant, for making this food drive a big success again this year,” said Adam Cobb and Ryan Hoff, leaders of the Windermere Edmonds food drive effort. “We also want to encourage others to continue donating to the local food banks in any amount possible as hunger is widespread among local residents, families and children.”

The food drive is set up as a friendly competition between realtor offices. The combined cash and food donations represents over 113,000 pounds of food to help feed hungry families this winter.

Noting that today’s dollar does not stretch nearly as far as it once did to feed the average family, realtors collected 20,000 pounds more food than the previous year.
