Full agendas for Edmonds City Council committee meetings Tuesday

The Edmonds City Council will discuss a wide range of important issues during committee work sessions this week, including implementation of a multi-family tax exemption program along Highway 99, lighting along Pine Street at the bottom of Point Edwards and parking on Sunset Avenue.

In addition, at the Tuesday, Aug. 8 meeting the council will talk about amendments to downtown Business Improvement District (BID) by-laws and a resolution supporting the measure of 911 emergency response agencies SNOCOM and SNOPAC.

Note that the city council committee meetings are work sessions for the City Council and staff only. While the meetings are open to the public, they are not public hearings.

The committees meet concurrently in separate rooms as indicated, and will follow a short council business meeting at 7 p.m. in the council chambers, 250 5th Ave. N. The council also will hold an executive session to discuss collective bargaining, starting at 6:40 p.m.
