Cascadia Art Museum will be buzzing this weekend with artistic events and a holiday sale. On Saturday and Sunday, members receive 20 percent off gift store items, and 10 percent off local artist made items. Non-members get in on the deals with 10 percent off the entire store.

On Sat., Nov. 18, visitors are invited to attend a drop-in printmaking class with artist Kerstin Graudins. Guests will create their own holiday cards and wrapping paper.

The museum also hosts a Girl Scout open house on Sat., Nov. 18. Scouts receive discounted admission to the museum and a workshop designed for them.

After the museum closes on Saturday, at 6 p.m. the museum invites the public to a Conversation with the Conductor, featuring Adam Stern, Music Director of the Seattle Philharmonic and the Sammamish Symphony. To reserve a seat or learn more about the events at Cascadia Art Museum, see here.

  1. Had a fabulous first visit to the museum. Am 86 with limited walking ability. A docent saw the problem, brought a wheelchair, pushed me through the exhibit, giving a commentary to me and my two friends. This was terrific! Know there are many in my situation living close by. Any chance of being able to schedule that type of tour as a regular service. I would gladly pay for it and if it would work better, would give a donation. That would be a win/ win for everyone

  2. Hello Paula,

Thank you for your wonderful suggestion! We’re consistently working on providing new and exciting programs here at Cascadia Art Museum, and our team will start looking into a monthly tour lead by one of our docents. Look towards our monthly newsletter emails for an announcement of the program, and for now feel free to call us any time at (425) 336-4809 to schedule a private tour.
