We reported five months ago on the uniquely Edmonds Nope button, available for a donation at the Edmonds Bookshop. Button creator Susan Morrow reports that the button has raised $1,000 for local nonprofits since it was introduced in June.
Morrow and the Bookshop have donated all proceeds to the ACLU of Seattle, Planned Parenthood of Seattle, and the Anti-Defamation League Pacific Northwest.
“The Nope button can mean anything you want it to: Nope to your partner. Nope to your dog. Nope to your kids. Or it can mean Nope to political policies and rhetoric you find objectionable,” Morrow said. “And it’s a distinctively different stocking stuffer!”
