Poetry fragments are popping up around town courtesy of EPIC Group Writers. The group installed poetry that appears on sidewalks only in rainstorms and reminds residents that gloomy skies are not all bad.

Recently, the literary nonprofit board held board elections. Five EPIC board members are retiring, including president Susan Ferguson, along with Vivian Murray, Kay Vreeland, Roma Anjoy, and Christine Pinto. EPIC’s new board members are Paddy Eger, Laura Moe, Susan Frederick, and Nicki Chen, to serve alongside continuing board members Tori Peters, Judith Works, Gerald Bigelow, and Sandra Walker.
