Three Swedish Edmonds nurses received the March of Dimes Nurse of the Year award for 2017.
Each year, the March of Dimes recognizes nurses throughout the community whose contributions and accomplishments have had a significant influence within the nursing profession in Washington.

The three Swedish Edmonds award winners are:
- Maggie Bissell, March of Dimes Nurse of the Year for Community and Public Health
Swedish Edmonds, RN, Critical Care Clinical Supervisor - Kristen McDonald, March of Dimes Nurse of the Year for Emergency Nursing Excellence
Swedish Edmonds, Emergency Department Stroke and Trauma Coordinator - Mike Hastings, March of Dimes Nurse of the Year for Advocacy
Swedish Edmonds, Clinical Manager of Emergency Services
