Buy a ticket to Dec. 17 showing of ‘The Last Jedi’ in Edmonds, and a child in need can also attend

Six Degrees Real Estate is inviting movie goers “across the Edmonds galaxy” to join forces and help local homeless youth in a benefit showing of Star Wars movie “The Last Jedi” at the Edmonds Theater this Sunday, Dec. 17 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
The public may purchase tickets to the event as a “buy one, give one” — through an arrangement with Washington Kids in Transition, for every ticket purchased, a youngster in need gets to see the movie as well.
Washington Kids in Transition serves families who are living out of cars, in motels or in shelters. “These kids don’t get to see feature films when their peers do, let alone see the the film at all,” notes an announcement from Six Degrees Real Estate. “This day will give kids who typically worry their next meal, the opportunity to take part in an inter-galactic event.”
Tickets to this opening-weekend showing include a hot dog, popcorn, soda, contests, prizes and photo-ops with Star Wars characters for $25/person. Each ticket purchased sends one homeless youth to see the the movie the same day free. You can buy tickets online at
