The City of Edmonds invites citizens to the Edmonds Library Plaza Room from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, to share their feedback on early design concepts for the Edmonds Street Waterfront Connector project.
Following work conducted through the Waterfront At-Grade Crossings Alternatives Analysis in 2016, the city is beginning to design a single-lane emergency vehicle and pedestrian overpass that will connect Edmonds Street to the Brackett’s Landing North parking lot.
The city says the Waterfront Connector will be a long-term solution to street-level railroad crossing conflicts, allowing pedestrians and emergency vehicles safe and direct access to the waterfront.
Citizens are invited to attend the community meeting to:
-Learn about the project
-Meet and talk to project staff
-Share their thoughts on preliminary design concepts
The presentation starts at 6:15 p.m. The Edmonds Library is located at 650 Main St.
