The Expertise List was created by independent auditors using 25 variables in five categories that the studios have to meet. The criteria includes reputation, credibility, experience, engagement and professionalism. Out of 136 studios that met the criteria, only 18 were chosen as best.
Listed alphabetically, the winners include nine studios from Seattle, two from Bellevue, 2 from Redmond, and one each from Issaquah, Auburn, Woodinville and Edmonds.
“It is a privilege to be included on the top 18 list and I am very proud of all seven of our Pilates instructors, who maintain and continue to deliver a high quality of professionalism, experience and expertise” said Pilates of Edmonds owner and lead instructor Cheree Brodrick.
According to Brodrick, each of her instructors holds additional credentials including Melt, Yamana, Reiki, Yoga, Personal Trainer, Injury & Special Populations, Original Strength Neuro reset and other complimentary trainings. This ensures that they can integrate the proper application of the Pilates exercises during sessions and classes and identify functional movement patterns and correct them if necessary, she said.
