Alicia Crank appointed to county’s new Paine Field Airport Commission

Alicia Crank

Edmonds resident Alicia Crank has been appointed to serve on the newly-formed Snohomish County Paine Field Airport Commission, which will advise the county on multiple matters related to airport operations.

The 13-member airport commission will serve in an advisory role in several areas, including reviewing and recommending updates to the airport master plan, changes to the airport capital improvement program and capital facilities plan and strategies for airport noise reduction. The commission will also provide a community perspective on airport operations.

The commission will have its work cut out for it, with construction of a new Paine Field passenger terminal underway and three airlines set to offer commercial flights starting this fall.

An Edmonds resident since 2014, Crank is the Corporate Relations Officer for YWCA Seattle-King County-Snohomish County. She also serves on the Edmonds Senior Center Board, the Edmonds Planning Board, the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Diversity and Inclusion committee of AFP-Advancement Northwest and Emerge Washington.

  1. Everything I read says new flights from Paine Field “in the Fall” – is there a projected actual date? we know it could change, but a date is better than “in the Fall.” None of the carriers I tried doing searches on have hits for PAE throughout the year (like it doesn’t exist even then). I’d really like to plan vacation with flights from PAE but it’s difficult without a start date.
