BNSF railroad work near Edmonds ferry terminal set for early Sunday, March 18

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, BNSF railroad crews will close the railroad crossing at State Route 104/Main Street near the entrance to the Edmonds Ferry Terminal from 11:59 p.m. Saturday, March 17, to 6:45 a.m. Sunday, March 18.

BNSF is working around Washington State Ferries’ Edmonds/Kingston schedule to complete train track maintenance work called tamping. The final ferry out of Edmonds is scheduled to leave at 11:45 p.m. Saturday and the first ferry Sunday is due to arrive around 6:50 a.m.
