The City of Edmonds has two openings on its Citizens Economic Development Commission.

When the commission was created in February 2016 — a reformulated version of a larger 17-member commission — Edmonds Mayor Dave Earling said its mission of “Promoting economic activity and vitality in Edmonds is of paramount importance to our community by creating jobs, enhancing quality of life and generating municipal revenue.”

Commissioners serve in a volunteer capacity for two-year terms. Both the mayor and city council appoint members, with subsequent confirmation by the full city council. Citizens interested in serving on the Citizens Economic Development Commission are encouraged to fill out and submit the official city application form, which may be found at this webpage: edmondswa.gov/boards-commissions-committees-openings.html
