Edmonds Demo Garden to host paper sculpture-making class March 24-25

Paper bird sculpture

The Edmonds Wildlife Habitat Native Plant Demonstration Garden is holding a “Learn to Make Paper Sculptures” workshop the weekend of March 24 and 25.

Local artist/naturalist April Richardson will be showing everyone how to make paper sculptures of local birds, wildlife and native plants from 1-3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, March 24-25. You are welcome to attend one or both days at the Willow Creek Hatchery building in the Demo Garden, located at the northwest corner of Pine Street and Highway 104.

Making these paper sculptures is a several-step process and will take at least a couple of hours.  It is an easy and fun activity for all ages (including adults) and everyone is always welcome. There is no pre-registration required and workshops are always free, although donations are welcome.
