Want to meet other artists? Edmonds’ ArtistsConnect welcoming members

Serious about connecting with other artists and sharing your wisdom? ArtistsConnect of Edmonds invited you to its monthly meetings, the fourth Saturday of each month, at Art Works in Edmonds, 201 Dayton St.

According to member Mary Knowlson, ArtistsConnect was born from a need for local artists to have a place to meet and connect with other artists. “We come from all walks of life and create in many different 2D and 3D media,” she said. “We have members from Edmonds, Kirkland, Bothell, Snohomish, Shoreline, Seattle, Everett, Mill Creek and other communities. We provide an information resource – created from the collective wisdom of the group – for our members.”

The group also sponsors the Annual Arts Splash event, where emerging Northwest artists, specializing in a variety of media, display their work.

There is no cost to join and no membership fee. The monthly meetings — an opportunity to share technical and creative support — run from 10 a.m. to noon on the fourth Saturday of each month at Art Works.
