Hundreds turn out for Boy and Girls Club track and field meet

It was a busy Saturday morning at Edmonds Civic Field as more than 200 young participants turned out to compete in relay races, sprints, hurdles and more as part of the series of spring Track and Field meets organized by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Snohomish County and the Edmonds School District, with support from the Verdant Health Commission.

“This is our second of three meets in Edmonds,” said organizer Kelli Calvin of the Boys and Girls Club. “We’ll have our final meet next weekend. All kids are welcome to come down and participate.”

More information is available on the Snohomish County Boys and Girls Club website.
