Edmonds City Council to honor student volunteers, hold committee meetings June 12


The Edmonds City Council is scheduled to honor its student representative as well as Students Saving Salmon volunteers, then break into committee meetings Tuesday, June 12.

Committee meetings are work sessions for the city council and staff, open to the public but no public comment is taken. The committees meet concurrently in separate rooms as indicated below.

Parks and Public Works Committee (Council Chamber)
-No parking ordinance for 238th Street Southwest from 100th to 104th Avenues Southwest.

-Presentation of supplemental agreement with Stantec Consulting for a waterline replacement program near Swedish Edmonds Hospital.

-Presentation of a utility easement for a new ground water monitoring well at 16116 72nd Ave.

-Presentation of a supplemental agreement with Murraysmith for the Five Corners Reservoir recoating project.

-Final acceptance and report on final construction costs for the 2017 sanitary sewer replacement project.

-Supplemental agreement with KBA to complete paving and striping for the 76th Avenue West and 212th Street Southwest intersection improvements project.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Public Safety Complex, 250 5th Ave. N. Prior to the regular meeting, the council will hold an executive session starting at 6:40 p.m. to discuss pending or potential litigation.
