Reminder: ‘Garter Snakes in Your Garden’ presentation at Edmonds Demo Garden July 15


Thayer Cueter, herpetologist and habitat steward, will present a ‘Garter Snakes in Your Garden’ at the Edmonds Wildlife Habitat Native Plant Demonstration Garden from 1-3 p.m. this Sunday, July 15.

There are several resident garter snakes that live at the Demo Garden, “and you may be lucky enough to see one during this workshop,” the workshop announcement notes. You’ll learn about these native snakes, their benefits to gardens, and their habitat needs.  Cueter will also provide information about other snakes of the Pacific Northwest.

The Edmonds Wildlife Habitat Native Plant Demonstration Garden is located on the northwest corner of Pine Street and Edmonds Way (SR 104) at 95 Pine St., Edmonds  There is free street parking on Pine. For those with limited mobility, use the small driveway off Pine Street to the small parking area.
