Excellent message, Diana – thank you!!!
Thank you Diana for submitting this and Teresa for posting it. It, ought to be on a big poster near all public places, with the last two sentences in large bold letters. I’ve been a conscientious recycler for 20+ years but I had no idea that such a small percentage of plastic bottles are recycled. Living in Washington state where, overall, we citizens have had a progressive attitude toward recycling since it’s inception, it’s easy to forget that much of our own country and much of the world is not as concscientious as most of us. Yet, there are still way too many in this state who seem to care more about their immediate needs and desires than the future well-being of our planet.
