Bird Lore columnist Carol Riddell notes that this adult Osprey passed over the Edmonds marsh on the evening of Aug. 9, heading toward its fishing grounds on Puget Sound.
“It is probably from the Highway 99 cell tower nest, which has been in use for at least three years now,” she said. “I often see one of the adults heading back to the cell tower with fish in its talons.”
