Coastal Community Bank will be opening its 14th branch location in downtown Edmonds, at 123 3rd Ave. S., next week.
The Edmonds location will include five full-time branch staff, four commercial lenders, a merchant services representative, and a shared mortgage lender.
“Our Edmonds team is enjoying the chance to perform their roles as bankers and community advocates while being closer to home,” said Jeff King, vice president and branch manager, in a bank announcement. “Having a full-service team with decades of financial experience will be an advantage to residents and businesses in the area. Not to mention, we wear our local badges with pride and look forward making a positive difference in the community.”
“In true Coastal fashion, the Edmonds team is fueled with energy and ideas on how best to serve the local needs of their neighbors,” added CEO and President Eric Sprink. “The key to our success is to find trusted bankers in an area and get behind their efforts. Invested bankers, like ours, build better communities by helping local business owners and community resources find success. We are proud of our ability to organically grow our franchise by valuing the people and traditions that make each community unique.”
Grand opening festivities run through the week of Oct. 15-19, coinciding with Edmonds’ 6th Annual Scarecrow Festival. The branch is participating in the scarecrow contest as well as hosting a glass pumpkin scavenger hunt and ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 18, at 12:30 p.m.
Anyone visiting the branch during the grand opening week can enter a drawing for prizes, including a pair of Seahawks Field Tickets. No purchase is necessary to win and the drawing will beheld Oct. 22.
Branch hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
