Doggone fun at annual Halloween Howl

Will you chip in to support our nonprofit newsroom with a donation today? Yes, I want to support My Edmonds News!

A Goldendoodle costumed as a Harlem Globetrotter. A chocolate lab dressed as a S’more. A three-headed dog with his Harry Potter master. Dogs and their owners were in fine form Saturday afternoon at the annual Halloween Howl costume contest sponsored by Off Leash Area Edmonds (OLAE).

The event included vendor booths and a silent auction featuring items for both humans and pets. Proceeds benefitted OLEA, the volunteer organization that maintains the off-leash dog park next to Marina Beach Park.

  1. Thank you Theresa for always covering this fun family event! A good time was had by all and many more costumes were running around in the afternoon and didn’t make it to judging! So thank you dog community for participating!
