Fall and winter color topic of Edmonds Floretum Garden Club Oct. 15 meeting

Evergreen Arboretum Executive Director Trevor Cameron will speak on fall and winter color for your garden at the Edmonds Floretum Garden Club’s Monday, Oct. 15 meeting in Edmonds City Hall’s 3rd floor Brackett Room.

According to a Floretum announcement, Cameron is the visionary behind Everett-based Evergreen Arboretum stunning themed gardens — the Urban Tree Walk, Rock Garden, Northwest Native Plant Trail, Rain Garden, Japanese Maple Grove, Northwest Demonstration Garden, and Woodland and Conifer Gardens. He’s also a manager, nurseryman and teacher at Sunnyside Nursery in Marysville.

Before Cameron’s talk on fall and winter color at 11 a.m., Floretum’s annual Fall Harvest Festival begins at 10 a.m. Members sell garden produce, plants, jams and jellies, crafts and more to raise funds for the club.

Guests are welcome. Tea and coffee provided. Bring your own sack lunch.
