On Sunday, Dec. 2, from 1-3 p.m., join Cindy Easterson with Pilchuck Audubon Society to make the perfect home accent to show your love of birds or a unique gift for the bird-lover in your life.
This family-friendly workshop is best for adults and kids 8-years of age and older. Organizers will provide all the tools and materials you’ll need to make refrigerator magnets, beverage coasters and a feeder for attracting yard birds.
The workshop is free but donations are appreciated to cover costs.
On Saturday, Dec. 8 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. the Demo Garden will hold a volunteer work party to finish the planting in preparation for next year. The Demo Garden will provide training and supervision, tools and gloves and refreshments.
The Edmonds Demo Garden is located at the Willow Creek Hatchery at 95 Pine St., northwest corner of Pine and Edmonds Way (Highway 104) with free parking on Pine Street. There is parking for those with limited mobility down the hatchery driveway.
