The Warriors, down by 11 points at halftime, outran the Juanita Rebels in the second half and defeated the visitors 58-44 at Edmonds-Woodway High School.
Mutdung Bol scored 22 points to lead E-W in the victory; Chinedu Acholonu added 14 points while Nuer Bol contributed 10 points to the Warriors’ win.
Ryan Trautmann and Nathan Robertson each scored 13 points for the Rebels in a losing cause.
The Warriors have three straight road contests up next on their schedule, the first at Woodinville on Thursday, Dec. 6. Tipoff against the Falcons is set for 7:15 p.m.
Meanwhile, the Edmonds-Woodway Lady Warriors made the long trip to Lynden on Friday to face the defending 1A state champion Lynden Christian Lync; by the end of the night E-W had discovered why the Lady Lyncs will likely be a contender for another state title this year.
The Lady Warriors fell to Lynden Christian 65-53 in a non-conference clash played at Lynden Christian High School.
The E-W girls will have a week off before their next game on Friday, Dec. 7, when they hit the road again, this time to face the Lake Stevens Vikings; tipoff is slated for 7:15 p.m.
