Score voting social set for Nov. 28 at Lynnwood Library

Score Voting Social: Snohomish County will hold its first Snohomish County meetup at 7:30 p.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28 at the Lynnwood Library.

Organizers describe it as “a laid-back event for small-d democracy advocates to come together and discuss cardinal voting methods and the future of voting reform in Washington state.”

According to Wikipedia, score voting or range voting is an electoral system for single-seat elections, in which voters give each candidate a score, the scores are added (or averaged), and the candidate with the highest total is elected.

The organization is nonpartisan and all are welcome regardless of political party. There is no fee for attending.
