Logan Fay, an Eagle Scout with Troop 300, recently built a new ramp and stairs for the annex building at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Edmonds, as part of his Eagle Scout project. The ramp and stairs provide complete access to the building located behind the church’s main sanctuary and is used for meetings and classes throughout the week as well as on Sundays.

The Boy Scout Eagle Scout service project was the ultimate “application phase” of what a scout has learned from scouting: leadership, responsibility, managing projects and applying the Scout Oath: “to help other people.”

Boy Scout Troop 300 has been meeting in St. Alban’s Parish Hall on Monday nights for several years and is supported by the church. For more information on Boy Scout Troop 300, visit their website athttp://www.troop300.org.

St. Alban’s is located at 21405 82nd Pl. W., near the Five Corners neighborhood of Edmonds.

  1. Well done, Logan Fay and Troop 300. Your perseverance has provided a much needed improvement to the community at Saint Alban’s. Congratulations on your accomplishments!

  2. Congratulations, Logan! Thank you so much for the needed project for the Church. St. Alban’s is truly blessed to have the support of Troop 300 Scouts and families.

  3. It has been great to see Logan’s growth since he came to Scouts and we’re so proud he was able to accomplish so much on his way to earning Eagle Scout rank. My two boys enjoy troop 300 tremendously as they are a very active outdoor group with great parental involvement, and not to mention a great track record for helping Scouts achieve Eagle rank.

  4. Nice job, Logan. All your hard work has paid off. Thanks for all you’ve done for St Albans and Troop 300!
