After a slow start, the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors eventually got up to full speed and dominated the visiting Oak Harbor Wildcats 80-55 in a Wesco League matchup played Wednesday at Edmonds-Woodway High School.
With the victory, the Warriors picked up their first league win of the season and evened their overall mark at 3-3.
E-W’s 80 points scored on Wednesday was their highest mark of the season, well above their average of 58 points scored per game in their first five contests.
E-W will close out the week with a pair of games on back-to-back days. On Friday, Dec. 21, the Warriors will visit the Everett Seagulls for a 7:15 p.m. contest; then on Saturday, Dec. 22, Edmonds-Woodway will host the Lakeside Lions starting at 5 p.m.
