The Edmonds-Woodway Warriors picked up easy victories on the hardwood and the wrestling mat but were defeated in the pool in high school sports action on Tuesday.
The Lady Warriors coasted to a 64-15 win over the Oak Harbor Wildcats in a girls basketball contest played at Oak Harbor High School. With the triumph, E-W remained undefeated in Wesco League play, 5-1 overall.
The Warrior wrestlers rolled over the Everett Seagulls 49-22 in a non-conference match at Edmonds-Woodway High School. E-W will begin Wesco League South Conference competition on Thursday, Dec. 20, when the Warriors square off first with Archbishop Murphy and then against Mountlake Terrace at Mountlake Terrace High School.
The E-W boys swim team came within four points of handing the Shorewood Thunderbirds their first loss of the season, but the T-Birds pulled out an 87-83 victory over the Warriors.
