Warriors basketball roundup: Boys lose to Kamiak on road, girls beat Lake Stevens at home

The Edmonds-Woodway Warriors’ boys and girls basketball teams had very different outcomes in their contests against bigger 4A schools on Friday.

After a hard-fought two point win the night before, the Warriors’ boys team couldn’t match the effort on Friday, falling to the Kamiak Knights 67-51 at Kamiak High School. Mutdung Bol scored 11 points, but he was the only Warrior to reach double-figure scoring in the loss.

Meanwhile, the Lady Warriors earned a 62-54 victory over the visiting Lake Stevens Vikings at Edmonds-Woodway High School. E-W’s Adrienne Poling scored 17 points, Bekah Dasalla-Good tallied 14 points and Ingrid Fosberg contributed 13 points in the win.
