Feel like going on an international  journey without leaving the state? Gallery North (401 Main St.) is hosting a joint exhibition with Silena Gallery featuring Chinese artists Hao Wang, Guochen Cui, Jinliang Li, and Liwei Lang to give you a taste of exotic locations. Alison Downs will be featuring her photographs from around the globe at Windermere Real Estate (210 5th Ave. S.).

For more great artwork, that reminds you how beautiful it is right here in the West, Randall J. Hodges Photography (317 Main St.) is always a must stop-and-see. And don’t miss the high school fine art and photography show at Frances Anderson Center (700 Main St.) and photographer Jacob Smithers at Edmonds Library (650 Main St.) for more stunning photography.

For a new twist on photography,  stop at ARTspot (408 Main St.) where Jeff Galbraith demonstrates how encaustics add depth and texture to his photographs.

Of course, the Grande Dame of demos in Edmonds is Art Walk Edmonds’ featured art show of the month: Joan Archer at Aria Studio Gallery (535 Main St.).
