City of Edmonds seeking new member for economic development commission

The City of Edmonds is looking to fill one position on the Citizens Economic Development Commission, open as of March 31, 2019.

Commissioners serve in a volunteer capacity for two-year terms. Both the mayor and city council appoint commission members, with subsequent confirmation by the full city council.

Citizens interested in serving on the Citizens Economic Development Commission are encouraged to fill out and submit the official city application form, which may be found at http://edmondswa.gov/boards-commissions-committees-openings.html. Applications are due by 4:30 pm, Friday, March 15.

Commissioners must be residents of Edmonds.

    1. Speaking from my experience as a former EDC member, as usual Mike is right-on. The EDC is also a great place to learn, imagine and help create new ideas. With new council members coming on-board soon, EDC will play a very important role. If you can commit to the meeting schedule and fully participate, the EDC is a wonderful team to be part of.
