Last weekend’s The Toast of Edmonds Cocktail Classic at 190 Sunset raised more than $2,100 — along with awareness — for the Edmonds Waterfront Center, with a capital campaign underway to replace the existing Edmonds Senior Center.

Ten local restaurants competed for this year’s Craft Cocktail Crowns. The 2019 winners are Barkada Restaurant (Judges’ Choice) for its Grand Larceny Painkiller and 190 Sunset (People’s Choice) for Plead the 5th. More than 200 people attended the event, which sold out within hours of tickets going on sale, said Carolyn Douglas, one of the organizers.

Scott Kelly and Jeffrey Anderson of Anderson Kelly Financial Group with Wells Fargo Advisors in Lynnwood helped sponsor the event. Celebrity judges were Stitch Mitchell, KXA radio; Dennis Bounds, (retired) KING 5 News anchor; Rich Marriott, KING 5 News meteorologist; Eric Wilkinson, KING 5 News reporter; Chris Cashman, KING 5’s Take 5 anchor; Rhienn Davis, Pacific Little League President; Nick Allard, KIRO 7 News meteorologist; and Michael McMorrow, Seafair Events Director.
